Accessibility Statement

Last updated: July 15, 2026

Kaci Kuykendall, DDS is committed to making this website welcoming and usable for as many people as possible, including visitors with disabilities. Caring for patients of all abilities is central to our practice, and we want that same care to carry through to your experience online.

Our approach to accessibility

Accessibility was considered as this site was designed and built, rather than treated as an afterthought. We are guided by widely recognized accessibility best practices, and we review pages using automated tools together with manual keyboard and screen reader checks. Web technology and our own content change over time, so we view accessibility as an ongoing effort and continue to make improvements as we identify opportunities.

Accessibility features on this site

Features we have worked to build into the site include:

  • Semantic structure with landmarks, headings, and a skip link to support navigation
  • Keyboard navigation with visible focus indicators
  • Color and contrast choices intended to keep text readable
  • Respect for reduced-motion preferences, with animations eased or turned off accordingly
  • An on-page accessibility toolbar offering larger text, increased spacing, a dyslexia-friendly font, high contrast and grayscale modes, link highlighting, a large cursor, a reading guide, stronger focus outlines, and reduced motion, with your preferences saved on your device
  • Descriptive alternative text for meaningful images and accessible names for interactive controls

Third-party and embedded content

Some content on this site comes from outside providers, such as the map and the online appointment request form, and those elements are not fully within our control. Where an embedded tool does not work well for you, we are glad to help through another route, including scheduling and answering questions by phone at (209) 667-0115.

Tell us if something is not working

If you come across any part of this site that is difficult to use, we want to hear about it. Reach out and we will work with you to provide the information or service you need through another method while we look into it.

It helps if you can include the web address of the page, a short description of what happened, and the browser or assistive technology you were using. We review every message we receive.
